Clay is a humble material that can be transformed in countless ways and is connected to every culture, past and present.  I'm honored to be a part of this tradition, and I share this passion with my students.  Teaching pottery is the most rewarding occupation I've ever had.  Making pottery is a very close second. I've spent over a decade replicating pottery for two different companies, honing the ancient craft of wheel throwing.  I've learned how to throw lightweight yet structurally sound pottery that's not just beautiful but feels good when held and used. I launched my own pottery business in May of this year, and my intention with Mimeo Tableware is to offer simple, beautiful, handmade pottery for everyday use.  I make one-of-a-kind pots and matching sets in pleasing, eye-catching colors.  Everything is microwave and dishwasher-safe and made with my whole heart.
